What are Google Snake Mods?
Google Snake is the little game hidden inside Google search, and a lot of us have lost an afternoon to it. Mods take that familiar game and bend it: faster or slower snakes, new skins, odd maps, power-ups and rules that make you rethink every turn.
We are a small community of modders who got tired of needing browser extensions, bookmarklets and tricky setups just to try a mod. So we put everything on one page. Open it, press play, and you are in the game.
It works on desktop, phones and tablets, it is free, and we keep it free of clutter. If you have an idea for a mod you would love to see, we are always listening.

How to play
Open the website
Head to snakemods.org on your phone, tablet or computer. Nothing to install and no account to create.
Press play
Hit the big play button above. The game only loads when you ask for it, so the page stays quick.
Pick a mod
Open the mod menu inside the game and choose what you feel like: speed, skins, maps or special abilities.
Learn the controls
Use the arrow keys or WASD on a computer. On a touchscreen, just swipe in the direction you want to go.
Go fullscreen
Tap Fullscreen for more room, or open the game in its own tab if your browser prefers that.
Beat your best
Try a different mod each round and chase a new high score. Reload any time for a clean start.

Is Google Snake Mods free?
Yes. It is free to play, with no sign-up, downloads or browser extensions.
Does it work on mobile and tablets?
It does. The controls are touch friendly, so you can swipe on a phone or tablet the same way you would press keys on a computer.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Press play and you are in.
Why does the game not start right away?
We load it only after you click play. That keeps the page light and fast, especially on slower connections.
Fullscreen does not work on my iPhone. Why?
Some iPhone browsers block fullscreen for embedded games. Use the Open in new tab button instead and you will get the whole screen.
The game looks stuck. What should I do?
Press Reload under the game. If it still misbehaves, refresh the page or try another browser.
Is this an official Google product?
No. We are an independent community of modders and are not affiliated with Google. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Will new mods be added?
Yes. We keep adding mods and often build them from player suggestions.
